I Want To Post Something

But I think you're not ready to see something like that, coming from me.

It's hard. I thought by creating this blog account, or tumblr account, I can already post everything that I wanted to post. But I don't know, even if I say I don't care about what other people say, sometimes I think it really doesn't work that way for me. I'm really a crowd pleaser. Or at least when that 'crowd' involves my friends.

Bowling!

Bowling is one of my favorite activities when I was in high school. I used to play with my best friend during that time. Her name's Junessa. I was about to take classes for it but I didn't. But today, I'm reliving my bowling skills. Expect a lot of bowling activities in the next days.

Pasalubong For Me

This morning, I was surprised to receive pasalubong from Honey and Tita Mila. They went to Hong Kong a couple of days ago for fun! *I wish we (Heva and I) were there. We should travel together again before, you know, I don't wanna say it here* Thank you so much for these wonderful items! I will surely use them for the betterment of the whole universe! *haha*

100% Silk Scarf from Tita Mila

Cottage Organic Shower Soap from Honey

Hershey's Kisses from Honey

Receiving pasalubong or gifts mean a lot to me. I feel being remembered and loved and loved and loved! I mean, you wouldn't give a pasalubong to a stranger, right? So I really thank you gals for everything. I love you both! :D

Chef d' Angelo

Classic Burger

Caramel Banana Walnut Waffle

Spaghetti with Fried Chicken

Our hiphop class last night was so tiring because lots of footworks were done, so, as usual, we ate afterwards. Sha, Jim, and I went to Chef d' Angelo to grab a bite. Burger for Sha, pasta for Jim, and waffle for me. I do not advise this --- eating soon after working out but it's the only time we can bond and make kwento to the full extent. Look oh:
So much fun with Jim and Sha

Enjoy to the fullest!

Heart to Heart with the Mega Star

I'm super sorry for our weird poses. She's not the Mega Star, but her name is Sharon. She's one of my best friends. We just met last year in our previous company, and yes, we've become close, until we considered ourselves best friends.

Let me make kwento about Sha. She is one of the strongest person I know. Like me, she's jolly, independent, sweet, humorous, and pretty *haha, as she always say, birds with the same feather make a good feather duster*. She's the breadwinner in their family. She's a patient lover *lol, patient*. Naughty and nice. She is also into healthy living. We go to gym together with Jim, CJ, and Yen. She's trustworthy and she's a mega star --- if you'll only get to know her story.

I love this lady. And last night, we met after her work, and after my QT to the gym. We had a heartfelt conversation about spending quality time with our family. We are not always the serious ones but yesterday, we had a serious and mature conversation *yes the wholesome mature, and the not so wholesome one, haha*. I was amazed on how she's doing as a whole. Keep it up, friend! You know I'm always here for you. :)

BTW, I don't recommend Guilly's BLT Sandwich. It has super hard bread. But we survived the evening together with beers. :)

To friendship! *Cheers*

China Town!

China is everywhere, isn't it?

No matter where you go, there will always be something Chinese around. In Philippine history, China really played a very big role to early Filipinos. Eversince the world begun *haha*, Chinese people are really into business, and that's how our ancestors get involved with them.

Roland, Alice, and Pao

I'm not really into history, so I won't plunge into the details *Introduction = FAIL hihi*. All I want to share is that yesterday, I and my Plurkada friends went to Binondo to try a different kind of trip. It was my first time to go to China Town in/or Binondo, so I was really, really excited.

Alice, Pao, and Kux

As we walked, we heard some Chinese music playing, and I found it really cute. Even though Ongpin St was small, parked cars makes it much smaller.

If you want to experience a little bit of China, getting in Binondo is a good start!
We ate lunch at Wai Ying. Though it was a small restaurant, I can assure you the food is really, really good. We ordered sharksfin dumplings, pork siomai, shrimp rolls, sweet and sour pork, fish fillets, yang chow rice, and beef mami *must try*. Good food, for me, should be something delicious and comes into a big serving size.

Wai Ying has more to offer than these tasty foodums :D

Manila's China Town is small so we decided to walk around and discover what really there is. Guess what? All we see is food. It's a good thing though, so that those we come home to will also get the taste of China Town.

It rained hard for quite a long while so we stayed in Binondo Church to pray and to pray. :)

Binondo Church

After going to Binondo, we went to Divisoria to shop, shop, shop, and then went home. That day made me realize how beautiful Manila is. There may be issues regarding cleanliness, but there's still something we can do to revive it. Next time, I'll walk around Manila for a day, just like what I do when I go to other places. It's like being a tourist in your own hometown. :D

Mahal Ko Ang Maynila :D

A Date with Friends and Friends of Friends

This is a post about meeting new people and friendship. I will try not to be consistent with that and try not to turn it into a food post *haha*.

Last week, Sha and I decided to have dinner and meet with each others' friends. And yes we did, on a friday night. Meeting new people, for software engineers like me, doesn't happen all the time. You know, it's always like it's-me-and-my-own-little-world *picture me with a computer, and you'll get it*. So this really made me excited. Time was really short but at least we shared little stories, and opinions, and laughters, and food, and songs, and ..., and ..., and ... *haha*. We really gotta do it again! Nice meeting you Biboy, Mitch, and Gino. :D

Let's make new friends! :D
